Genesis: Rapid development in global business and its impact
on India’s domestic market call for a professional
approach and sensitivity to international business environment. MBA course help
to develop a pool of human resource to cater for trained personnel in the field
of international business management in general and national demand, in
particular.
Eligibility: The minimum qualification for admission to MBA
programmes is a Bachelors degree in
Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or other
professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will
appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held in 2010 & results published
by September 2010 may also apply.
Test structure: The JEMAT written test will be of objective
type consisting of three sections of 2 hours duration ( 11 a.m. to 1 p.m ) as
detailed below:

How to apply:The application form
may be downloaded from the websites www.wbut.ac.in and www.wbut.net. Completed
application forms are to be submitted to the University office. Examination fees
are Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates
(without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500
respectively (with late fine). The examination fees are to be paid in the form
of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology
payable at Kolkata. Attested copies of marksheets, certificates and other
testimonials as well as SC/ST/OBC/PH certificates should be submitted with the
Application Form.
