Masters
in Business Administration
This
is the world renowned two year full time residential program
that is recognized and accepted by the International Management
Institute, Belgium, one of the world's leading business schools.
Offered currently at the Asian (New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore
& Chennai) campuses of IIPM, students have the option of
transferring their credits to IMI Belgium and continue their
studies there. Students study core subjects in the first year
related to various areas like National Economic Planning, Marketing,
Personnel & Industrial Relations, Finance & Accounting,
Production, Quantitative Techniques, IT Systems and various
other term papers. In the second year, students have to undertake
compulsory specializations related to Marketing & IT. Apart
from these two compulsory specializations, students have a choice
of taking up an additional specialization, namely Finance or
Human Resources. Students in the second year also study advanced
core papers like Business Policy & Strategic Planning, Mergers
& Acquisitions, International Marketing etc. Students have
to submit a thesis dissertation at the end of the program. Interestingly,

Eligibility
The
candidate should be a graduate, or should be in the final year
of graduation.
No minimum percentage is required in graduation for applying.
Admission Process
All
India Examination Procedure: For the MBA programme, after the
applications have been received and accepted, admit cards would
be sent to candidates for the Entrance Examination. The Entrance
Examination is conducted at more than 20 centers all over India.
All applicants who receive admit cards would have to undergo
the Entrance Examination that would consist of three stages,
namely, a written examination, group discussion and a personal
interview. There would be no short-listing of applicants before
all the three stages are over. Once the three stages are completed,
the final selected list of applicants would receive individual
communication from the Admissions Department at IIPM. Applicants
can also call up the Admissions Department and verify selection
details.
Fees
and Expenses
Two
year MBA program costs a total of Rs 4,26,000/-,payable in four
installments.

IIPM
Fellowship Programs:
The
IIPM fellowship programs endeavor to support research in various
management areas through sponsored support of research associates
who are high academic achievers and have relevant professional
experience. While the fellowship program is a full time residential
program that might span a period between three to six years
of research study, IIPM's Executive Fellowship Program is focused
on working executives with phenomenally high research orientations.
IIPM fellows are provided a monthly stipend along with various
other facilities. The fellowship programs are generally either
sponsored programs or self financing programs. However, in the
past, various companies have sponsored and chaired fellows to
undertake specialized research in specific areas of interest.
Students who pass out of the IIPM fellow programs generally
focus on teaching careers. However, the other industries of
choice include consulting, training, government positions etc.
A majority of the alumni currently work with the leading business
schools and top consulting firms of the corporate world. Fellows
also join the best companies in the world after passing out
from this course.
Eligibility
Applicant
should have completed a minimum of 16 years of education to
apply for the IIPM fellowship programs. The applicants should
have relevant work experience and have previously published
research papers, articles etc.
Admission
Process
The
eligible candidates are asked to submit summaries of their interest
areas. Once these are received, they would have to undergo interviews
with specific Heads of Departments & Units. Selection results,
stipend amounts and other fees would be communicated on the
basis of these interviews.
Fees and Expenses
IIPM
fellows would be awarded a monthly stipend that would be amongst
the best in the academic field. Fellows would however have to
pay the course fees. Details would be provided by respective
Department & Unit Heads at IIPM once the applications are
received.
Executive
Education Programs:
These
programs are specifically focused on working executives in organizations.
The programs are conducted in various management areas (Sales,
Marketing, Behavioral Sciences, IT Systems, Finance and Strategic
Planning). These programs are conducted by the Human Resource
Intelligence Cell (HRIC) along with the Center for Corporate
Identity & Strategy Development. Workshops are conducted
all year round and are both in-house (within the corporation)
and open house (open to all companies). IIPM focuses on dramatic
and radical improvements in organizational performance through
such training & development programs.
Facilities
Campus
IIPM's
academic campuses in Asia are based in New Delhi, Mumbai. IIPM's
Asian consulting and research centers, under IIPM's Consulting
Cell (Planman Consulting) are based in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore,
Kolkata, Chennai (India), and the North American consulting
and research center is based in Toronto (Canada). Chicago (USA)
is the headquarters for the most recent research and consulting
center that IIPM is setting up in North America. In the European
continent, along with strategic
partners International Management Institute (IMI) Belgium,
IIPM is in the middle of the industrial capitals of Europe,
namely Antwerp & Brussels. Further, the Global Opportunities
& Threats Analysis (GOTA) programs of IIPM shift traditional
campus learning to the live corporate arena in the international
headquarters of organizations like Nestle S.A (Vevey, Switzerland),
United Nations (Geneva), World Bank, ILO, INSEAD (France), Credit
Suisse Europe, IMD Lausanne, etc.
IIPM's Asian campuses in New Delhi & Mumbai focus on various
academic programs, namely, MBA, BBA, Fellowship programs and
on specific management training programs. The area also has
campuses of various international organizations like USAID,

Library
For
both the New Delhi & Mumbai campuses, IIPM's libraries constitute
the basis of learning for students, faculty and executives.IIPM
libraries in other cities worldwide (Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai,
Toronto, Chicago) are maintained and supported by Planman Consulting.
The IIPM libraries are supported internationally through the
online reference system of Asia Development Intelligence Unit
(ADIU).
All IIPM libraries maintain computerized index sheets for visitors
to sort through books (current & new lists), journals (current
& new lists), other magazines and papers (news, research,
surveys etc). Further, the library staff of IIPM & ADIU
(including the Student Library Secretaries) regularly provide
key reference information and tips for optimally utilizing the
library's resources.
Apart from over 10000 titles in various management and non-
management related areas, the various sections in any IIPM library
would cover the following areas: Library News, Library Catalogues,
Electronic Resources, General Information, Faculty & Fellow
Services, Examination Papers, Readings and the Online ADIU Library. |
