IIM Kozhikode to Organize Annual Alumni - Freshers meet, Across 6 Different Cities
The
Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode will organize its Annual Alumni -
Freshers meet, Sangam, across 6 different cities - Delhi,
Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad on 15th May
and in Mumbai on 22nd May 2010. This event is the largest gathering of past,
present and future members of the IIMK family.
The event brings together nearly 3000 alumni, 300 present students and 300
future students to interact and communicate their experiences and ideas.
The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is the fifth IIM instituted in this
country. Since its inception in 1996, the institute has climbed new heights of
success each year. This year more than 300 students have been selected as the
fourteenth batch of IIMK. This event offers an opportunity for the new batch to
learn from the alumni and benefit from their vast experience and knowledge,
thereby getting formally inducted into the IIMK family. The alumni have an
opportunity to recollect memories, reconnect with their friends and maintain
their association with the institute through yearly interaction. The illustrous
alumni of IIMK, having reached pinnacles of success in various sectors of the
industry, hold volumes of information and experience. Their valuable guidance is
pivotal for the present and future students.
The event is organized by the current batch of students of IIM Kozhikode. It is
the annual flagship event of the Alumni Committee of IIM Kozhikode. The
gathering is a vibrant mix of alumni and freshers having lots to share with each
other. The event will also have its share of fun with music and dance to add to
the glitter.
The venues for the event are Le Meridian, Bengaluru, The Hans, Delhi, ITC Chola
Sheraton, Chennai, Taj Banjara, Hyderabad, The Conclave, Kolkata and Le Royal
Meridian, Mumbai. The event has been sponsored by industrial giants like
Whyte and Macay and pcgurulive.com.
Sangam is part of a tradition at IIM Kozhikode. It is organized every year and
expands each year in terms of size and scale. The event is designed to bring the
entire IIMK community under one roof with the hope of sparking new ideas and
helping develop bonds and linkages that will benefit the IIMK family as well as
the society as a whole.
